Travel Clinic & Travel Vaccinations
Why Travel Vaccination Planning Matters
Some countries carry a genuinely higher risk of diseases that are rare or absent in the UK, and your immune system has no existing defence against them. In some cases, vaccination isn’t just sensible, it’s a legal requirement for entry.
Our Yellow Fever Designated Centre Status
Not every clinic can administer the Yellow Fever vaccine or issue the official International Certificate of Vaccination, it requires designated status. We hold that status, which means if your destination requires proof of vaccination, we can provide it properly and officially.
Vaccines and Certificates We Provide
Depending on your destination, we typically cover:
- Yellow Fever (with official certificate)
- Hepatitis A and Hepatitis B
- Typhoid
- Meningitis ACWY, including for Hajj and Umrah
- Tetanus, Diphtheria and Polio (Td/IPV)
- Rabies
- Japanese Encephalitis
- Cholera
We also advise on antimalarial medication and general travel health precautions relevant to your specific trip.
What Happens During Your Consultation
Tell us where you’re going, for how long, and what you’ll be doing, rural travel, altitude, animal contact, and we’ll map out exactly which vaccines and precautions actually apply to your trip rather than a generic list.
When to Book
Ideally three to six weeks before you travel, some vaccines need time to become fully effective, and courses involving multiple doses need enough runway to complete properly. If your trip is sooner than that, get in touch anyway, we’ll do what’s possible.
