The NHS runs its COVID-19 programme on a priority basis, so not everyone qualifies at any given time. Age, occupation and existing health conditions all factor into who’s currently invited. If you fit within the current criteria, your vaccine costs nothing. If you don’t, or you simply don’t want to wait for an invitation letter, a private appointment gets you the same protection on a schedule you control, with the price agreed before you book.

Immunity from earlier doses fades over months, not years, which is why the virus can still catch people off guard even after previous jabs. Older adults and anyone managing a condition that affects their immune response tend to face the sharpest consequences if they fall behind. The Vaccines Available Through Our Clinic

Stock changes with each seasonal rollout and current supply, but our clinic typically carries:

Your pharmacist will tell you exactly which one is in stock when you book and talk through anything you’re unsure about beforehand. If it’s convenient, we can also give your flu vaccine at the same visit, one jab per arm, so you’re not making two separate trips.

What Happens During Your Visit

You’ll start with a brief conversation with the pharmacist about your health history and anything relevant to the vaccine itself, then the injection follows straight after. Before you head off, you’ll get a rundown of what’s normal to feel afterwards and when to seek help if something feels off. Most people are in and out within 15 minutes.

What It Costs

If you qualify under the current NHS criteria, there’s nothing to pay. For private bookings, the price depends on which vaccine you’re having, and you’ll know the exact figure before you confirm your slot, not after.
