Getting contraception sorted shouldn’t mean weeks of waiting for a GP slot. Through the NHS Contraception Service, many people can get certain methods, like the pill, directly from us, and if you fall outside NHS criteria, a private consultation covers the same ground. NHS or Private, Working Out Which Applies

The NHS Contraception Service lets pharmacists supply certain contraceptive methods, most commonly the pill, free of charge to those who meet the criteria, without a GP appointment. If you don’t currently qualify, or you’d simply rather book privately, we can still help through a paid consultation.

What We Can Offer

Beyond the ongoing supply of the pill, we can talk through condoms, emergency contraception if needed, and general advice on what might suit your lifestyle and health history. If you’re considering something longer-acting, like the implant or coil, we’ll talk through what’s involved and point you toward a clinic that fits them.

If you’re already on a method that’s working well, we can often arrange ongoing supply without repeating a full consultation each time, so you’re not caught out running low.
